Abstract (EN):
The article analyses the influence of different types of urban structures and their location in the city on the prices, rents and trends of property prices and on the costs of maintaining the public areas paid from public budgets. The occupation of real estates is also monitored. The article analyses the case studies in selected characteristic localities. The structures of historical cores, 19th century block buildings, modernist housing estates and new residential areas of family houses outside the city are especially analysed. The aim of the article is to compare the influence of different types of urban structures on selected, detectable and comparable price parameters of the especially residential areas, which are considered important economic indicators of their sustainable development. The results indicate that the monitored indicators are more influenced by the attractiveness, the overall urban arrangement and character of the city than by the type of the urban structure. In some cases, they are influenced by the location of the urban structure in the city.
